EQUIP CLASSES

In Ephesians 4:11 & 12, Paul says that Jesus gave  pastor-teachers "to equip the saints for the work of ministry." That is the purpose of Equip Classes. These classes are designed to help us grow in both our understanding and application of God's word. They are generally topical in nature, and offered on a semester schedule in the fall and spring on Sunday mornings at 9:30am.

GRACE GROUPS

Getting connected to other believers is crucial for the health and vitality of a local church. Grace Groups exist to help foster community built on the gospel.

Grace Groups meet in homes every 1st and 3rd Sunday evening of the month. We generally spend the first 30 minutes enjoying fellowship, dessert, and coffee. Following that time, we discuss application from the sermon text. Finally, we spend time sharing prayer needs and lifting those up to the Lord together.

THEOLOGY AND PRACTICE STUDIES

On Wednesday evenings, (as scheduled) the church gathers for a mid-week equipping opportunity. We believe theology informs and shapes methodology. Thus, we study what the Bible has to say about subjects that will help the church grow in faithfully living out the teaching of Scripture.

INTENTIONAL DISCIPLESHIP

Christian growth and maturity doesn't happen in isolation. God intends that iron sharpen iron, meaning believers gather together to help one another grow in the faith. At PAC, we encourage intentional discipleship where two or more men or two or more women meet regularly to read God's word or a good book that helps us understand God's word, to discuss it, apply it, and pray over it for the building up of one another in Christ.

COLLEGE MINISTRY

College students experience a unique time in life. It's typically the first time to encounter more freedom and bear more responsibility! It is vitally important for students to be connected to a healthy church family! As neighbors of the University of Memphis, we hope to make disciples of college students by teaching them how to know Christ and grow in Christian maturity. College students who follow Jesus, like all Christians, need fellowship and encouragement in the gospel with other Christians from all walks of life. We hope to see students develop Christ-centered relationships within our church family.
